"I'm Really Not Okay"

So, it happened again.

I received yet another message from someone who read "The Road to Ezra" stating that after that ending, they were really not okay. (This was followed by, I can't wait to start book two! So no actual damage had been done, I promise, haha)

But anyway, I'm telling my boyfriend about it, and he says, "Hey, miss indie author, stop messing with people's minds."

Followed by a mocking text message, "My book is 'Trauma ReCoVeRy'."

Well, it is, smartass, but in order to heal, we must break and usually become emotionally scarred along the way, and I mean...sometimes it truly takes hitting rock bottom to dig yourself out. Maybe I shouldn't be laughing about this, but he goes, "Actually, she means, 'I'm gonna fuck with your soft little minds, open closed wounds, and get rich doing it.'"

I'm not sure about the getting rich part, but uh, what do you guys think? Could this be a good pitch? I feel like my dark romance girlies will be over here like "Challenge accepted."

Let me know what you think?! haha

With Moonlit Regards,
